Focusing on "Main Street" small businesses in small-town America, Penn-America provides non-standard commercial property, general liability, and multiperil insurance to bars, retailers, contractors, and others, primarily in small towns and suburban and rural areas. The company sells policies through more than 100 wholesale agents doing business through about 200 locations across the US. Penn-America is a subsidiary of United America Indemnity and is helmed by president Matthew Scott.
